// why automate it

Know what came in on every vehicle.

01

Identify every tyre, automatically

The scanner reads tyre make, model and size on every wheel that drives across it. No manual check, no clipboard — your team gets the data without spending time at the bay.

02

Plate-tagged to the right vehicle

Number plate read on entry, tyre identification filed under the right car. Plate-tagged identification is part of the broader 360 Auto Eye vehicle recording platform — no manual data entry, no "which car was this?", the record matches itself.

03

Evidence for the conversation

When a customer asks "what tyres do I have on it?", the answer is already in your dashboard — backed by a time-stamped photo of each wheel taken on entry. See the pricing page for tyre-scanner package and lease pricing.

// how it works

A faster, more consistent way to record tyres.

Tyre identification data captured automatically as vehicles arrive, without adding time to the customer journey.

  1. Step one

    Vehicle approaches the scanner

    As your customer pulls in, the system reads the number plate automatically and prepares the scan. Indicator lights turn green when the scanner is ready — no staff input needed, no queue impact.

  2. Step two

    Drive over the scanner at low speed

    The customer drives over the scanning pad at walking pace. All four tyres are photographed and identified in a single pass — make, model and size — without slowing the lane down.

  3. Step three

    Record ready in seconds

    The tyre record appears on your dashboard immediately and a customer-facing PDF is generated automatically. Drivers can scan a QR code at the bay to claim their record straight to their phone, or email it on for later.

Frequently asked questions.

What does the tyre scanner record?

Tyre make, model and size on each tyre, plus a time-stamped photograph of every wheel — captured across all four corners as the vehicle drives through. The record is filed under the number plate automatically.

How long does a tyre scan take?

The scan happens as the vehicle drives over the unit at walking pace. The record is available almost instantly on your dashboard, and a customer-facing PDF is generated automatically.

Where do customers see their record?

Records live on a secure cloud platform with single-site or multi-site logins. Customers can be invited to scan a QR code at the bay to see their record directly on their phone, with the option to add their email and last service date.

Can you adapt the system to suit my requirements?

Yes. We manufacture the scanner and we own the software, so we can build to your operation — custom record layouts, integrations into your DMS or RMS, white-label customer-facing records.

What size of vehicle can drive over the scanner?

Our best-selling unit handles vehicles up to Transit / Vivaro-size vans and large SUVs. We have options available for HGVs and larger commercial vehicles — get in touch and we will point you at the right unit.

Where do you install?

We are UK-based with in-house engineers covering the whole country. We also install internationally and can ship the scanner worldwide with full remote support for non-UK customers.

What are the install requirements?

Site survey, one-day install, half-day staff training. Power requirement is 230 V / 16 A. The scanner is under 90 mm thick so it sits flush with most floor surfaces — no excavation required for typical installs.
